The first thing I noticed when I stepped foot into the restaurant was that it did not smell like a restaurant at all. In fact it smelled more like a home, minus the pungent aroma your typical Filipino kitchen. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with nice staff, soothing Filipino folk music playing from the speakers. The cuisine was better than any other Filipino place I've been to. The Crispy Pata was nice and crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside The staff are very friendly and always welcome you back in like a close relative who has come back to visit.

Being Filipino I get the occasional craving for Filipino food. Problem is not too many places can get that "home cooked flavor" right. But not here. Boracay is seriously good, its the closest you could get to home cooked food. This is the place to go if you want to know how good Filipino cooking should taste like.
I just got food to go for my first time but authentic flavor is everything to me and Boracay has that in spades... From now on this would be my top choice for Filipino cuisine around the Peninsula....
So far so good! Haven't had anything that I did not like yet or have a bad dining experience.

I was looking through the menu and several things caught my eye, but I decided to order their black fried rice that had crab meat in it and topped with calamari. I'm glad I did. It doesn't taste like your typical tried rice, but in a good way. I was curious what the ingredient was that made the rice black and they told me it was squid ink. Interesting. If you've ever eaten Filipino food, you know that it's greasy. Not over here which is great. The staff at this restaurant are friendly too. That's always something I look for if I'm going to be a repear customer at any restaurant.
